We’re very excited about the release of Fill Colors and we’re sponsoring a contest to let you showcase your skills and talent in Flex skinning.
Prize
One Adobe Flex Builder 2.0 license

The Challenge
Here’s an opportunity to show off your best creations. We will pick the best Flex skin based on 2 judging criteria:
- Design
- Technical merit
We are looking for skins that are interesting and impress us with appealing presentation or technical complexity. We also want to encourage anyone who’s never used Adobe Flex to participate, so don’t worry if you’re new to Flex. We want you to have fun and experiment!
How to Enter
Read the Contest Rules located at the bottom of this page. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these Contest Rules.
To get started:
- If you do not have Flex installed, download Adobe Flex Builder 3 public beta
- Go to the Participate section to download the Fill Colors shell application. There is a tutorial on how to get started, especially if you are new to using Adobe Flex Builder, and how to submit your Flex skin.
- Create and submit a Flex skin that will blow us away!
You may submit multiple entries. Entries will be accepted through midnight (PST) November 16, 2007. There must be a minimum of 3 contest entries submitted by the contest deadline before a winning entry can be selected.
Judging
Winners will be selected by a panel of AsFusion judges. The judges shall have the sole authority and discretion to select the award recipient.
Contest Rules
To participate in the Fill Colors Contest (the "Contest"), you must be at least 18 years old. Employees and contractors of AsFusion and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited. Entries from outside the U.S. are permitted. Winners from outside the U.S. will only receive the Flex Builder 2.0 serial number and not the retail box.
With regard to an entry you submit as part of the Contest, you are submitting your own work and/or you have the corresponding licenses for the work you are submitting. You grant AsFusion a worldwide, perpetual, fully paid-up, non-exclusive license to display your design and reproduce it in other media with the purpose of promoting Fill Colors. Your design and images will not be sold, although you may grant additional permissions via the license you provide along with your submission.
If you are selected as a contest winner, you agree that AsFusion may publicize your name, likeness, and the description of work you did to win the contest. Apart from the prize associated with being selected as a winner, AsFusion shall not be obligated to compensate you in any way for such publicity.
One prize will be awarded to the winning entry. Winning entries from previous contests cannot be considered for current and future contests.
Each entrant shall indemnify, defend, and hold AsFusion harmless from any third party claims arising from or related to that entrant's participation in the Contest. In no event shall AsFusion be liable to an entrant for acts or omissions arising out of or related to the Contest or that entrant's participation in the Contest.
Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries received. No prize substitution is permitted. Winner(s) may be required to verify their entry.You must agree to the above rules as well as the rules on our online Participation form, which you will use to submit your contest entry.
Notification
The winning entry will be announced on the FillColors.com site by AsFusion on November 17, 2007. Following the announcement, the winner will be notified by e-mail. The Winner has 14 days from notification to claim the prize. The prize may be claimed by return e-mail. If unclaimed, the prize will not be awarded.
